The Senior Visual Designer will lead visual design for web and digital projects, collaborating with strategy and UX teams, and preparing developer-ready files.
Web + Digital Experiences
We’re looking for a freelance Visual Designer with a strong product mindset to support our web and digital experience work. This role is end-to-end. You’ll take ideas from early visual exploration through execution, partnering closely with strategy, UX, and development to bring thoughtful, well-crafted products to life.
This role reports to the Design Lead / CCO.
What you’ll do- Lead visual design from concept through delivery with a product lens
- Create moodboards, look & feel explorations, and early visual directions
- Collaborate closely with Strategy and UX to translate ideas into structured, usable experiences
- Apply visual systems to wireframes and user flows
- Design modular components and scalable design systems
- Iterate based on feedback, constraints, and user needs.
- Prepare clean, developer-ready Figma files
- Support Webflow builds or handoff to development (Webflow experience is a plus)
- Present work in internal and client-facing meetings, clearly walking through ideas and design rationale
- Product-focused visual design with a clear point of view
- Advanced Figma skills (components, variants, auto layout, libraries)
- Design systems and modular thinking
- Strong typography, layout hierarchy, spacing, and visual rhythm
- Clear verbal and visual communication of ideas
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional partners
- Webflow build experience or strong understanding of Webflow constraints
- Experience partnering closely with developers through build and QA
- Comfort presenting and defending work with clients

The target range of base compensation for this role is $65.00 - $85.00 per hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
