About The Mobile-First Company

Most tools for small businesses weren’t built for real operators.
They were built for employees in offices, not people running a business from their phone.

We’re changing that.

We build mobile-first business software that feels like a consumer app, runs on AI, and spreads like a creator brand.

Our first product, Allo, gives you a second number on your phone, answers missed calls with AI, transcribes everything, and syncs it to your CRM.

Over 20,000 businesses use it every day.
Next up: expenses, invoicing, and more.

We’ve raised +15 million dolars from Base10, Lightspeed, EMBLEM, and 30+ top operators.
Our team is based in Paris, Buenos Aires, Miami.

The mission

We are looking for a Lead Visual Designer (Brand & Web) to own our visual identity. But let’s be clear: this is not a traditional graphic design role. We need a Builder.

You will work directly with the Chief Brand Officer to shape how our products look, move, and feel. You are a "one-person army" who can design a stunning concept in Figma and then bring it to life, either by coding it (Frontend/Webflow/Framer) or animating it (Motion/Rive).

What will you do

  • Own the brand: You are the guardian of our aesthetic. You ensure consistency across our apps, website, and communications.

  • Build, don't just mockup: You design high-converting landing pages and interactive experiences. You don't just hand off a Figma, you understand how the web works and you ship assets that are ready for production.

  • Inject the "Magic": Collaborate with Product Designers on key initiatives to infuse our brand DNA. Where necessary, you add the 'delight' layer: crafting the specific sounds, animations, and visual refinements that make the product feel premium.

  • Ship fast: You thrive in ambiguity. You prefer a shipped v1 over a perfect concept that never launches.

Who you are

  • You are a Hybrid: You are a master of Visual Design, but you have a secret weapon.

  • You have "The Eye": You operate at a Tier-1 visual standard (think Attio, Apple, Vercel). You spot alignment errors in milliseconds.

  • You are a "One-Person Army": You don't need a project manager. You see a problem, you design a fix, and you ship it.

  • You get "Mobile-First": You understand that mobile screens are our primary canvas, not an afterthought.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Brand or Digital Design.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates craft. We want to see the details, the motion, or the live links.

  • Expertise in Figma is non-negotiable.

  • Either advanced Motion Design skills (After Effects, Rive) OR Creative Frontend capabilities (Webflow, Framer, HTML/CSS).

  • English fluency

What we offer

  • Work directly with leadership on high-impact projects

  • Ship work that thousands of people will see and use

  • Competitive salary (in USD)

  • Equity package

  • 10-day team retreats abroad every quarter

No cover letter needed just tell us who you are and why this role fits you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
