DGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced IT PreSales & Delivery Consultant with deep expertise in server infrastructure, enterprise storage, and virtualization platforms. This hybrid role bridges sales and delivery—supporting account teams in designing tailored IT solutions, while also leading implementation and configuration efforts for our clients.


The ideal candidate brings both strategic insight and hands-on technical capabilities, enabling them to architect, validate, and deploy complex virtualization and infrastructure solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities - Pre-Sales Consulting:

  • Partner with account executives and customers to assess infrastructure needs and define solution architectures.
  • Design and present compelling proposals, scopes of work, and technical diagrams for server, storage, and virtualization deployments.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proofs of function (POFs), showcasing value and differentiation.
  • Assist in RFP/RFI responses, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and vendor capabilities.
Requirements

Delivery & Implementation:

  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot solutions across leading platforms such as VMware vSphere, HPE VM Essentials, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix, or Red Hat Virtualization.
  • Perform assessments, health checks, migrations, and infrastructure optimizations.
  • Document architecture, implementation plans, and as-built environments for client hand-off and internal reference.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field technicians during engagements.
  • Possess an understanding of the following Infrastructure topologies: Spine/Leaf DataCenter Fabrics. 3 Tier, HCI, DHCI.

Client Success & Technical Leadership:

  • Act as a subject matter expert during customer engagements, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with business outcomes.
  • Stay current on trends in server, storage, and virtualization to continuously enhance DGR’s solution portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and vendor partners to influence offerings and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or consulting.
  • Proven experience with VMware (vSphere/ESXi), Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix Acropolis (AOS),  or similar hypervisors.
  • Strong understanding of server platforms (HPE, Dell, Lenovo) and SAN/NAS storage systems (HPE, Pure, Dell, NetApp).
  • Experience with virtualization backup, replication, and DR technologies. Preferred technologies: Zerto, Cohesity, Veeam, ASR, SRM and NC2.
  • Experience with Azure migrate or Nutanix Move
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across presales and delivery engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as VMware VCP, HPE ASE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Nutanix NCP.
  • Experience with automation, scripting (PowerShell), and hybrid cloud integrations.
  • Familiarity with tools such as VMware vCenter, HPE OneView, Morpheus Data, Red Hat Virtualization Manager, or Nutanix Prism.
  • Background in working with or for OEMs, IT distributors, or VARs.
