Role Overview: As the Senior Vice President of Fintech, Business Solutions, and Risk, you are a strategic and entrepreneurial leader who thrives in a complex environment and is passionate about building high-impact businesses. You drive strategy, execution, and growth across a portfolio that includes payment processing, embedded financing, card issuance, bill payments, payroll, bookkeeping, tax, insurance, and risk management. You have a deep understanding of financial services and business strategy, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration. Your leadership fosters a high-performance culture, embedding financial and operational discipline,  and scalable business processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full P&L for Fintech, Business Solutions, and Risk, driving sustainable growth
  • Define long-term vision and execute growth strategies across financial services and business solutions
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, develop investment cases, and drive new product initiatives
  • Build, negotiate, and manage third-party technology and business partnerships
  • Oversee frontline sales and operations teams responsible for bookkeeping, payroll, and payment support
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Finance to drive performance and accelerate product delivery
  • Develop and execute operational processes that improve scalability, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Understand emerging risk vectors, balance revenue and user experience against loss prevention, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Serve as executive sponsor for key partner and customer relationships
  • Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering strong collaboration and leadership development

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in fintech, payments, lending, insurance, or related industries within SaaS and financial services
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership, business building, and cross-functional leadership
  • Expertise in evaluating and managing partnerships, including commercial negotiations and ongoing partner management
  • Strong understanding of credit, fraud, regulatory risk, and loss prevention strategies
  • Experience leading operational frontline teams across multiple functions
  • Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to scale businesses within fast-growth, entrepreneurial environments
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
