We are looking for a Senior UX Product Designer

Compensation:
Target total compensation ranges from $214k-$255k, comprised of a fixed annual salary of $174k - $215k, plus employee equity plan grant. In addition, you will receive world-class employee benefits.
Equity grants are issued in good faith and are subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our team. You’ll design end-to-end experiences across traditional UI and AI-powered (agentic) workflows, shaping how users interact with data, automation, and personalization.

This role requires strong systems thinking, a high bar for craft, and the ability to work across teams and problem spaces. You’ll define and evolve interaction patterns across both traditional and AI-driven experiences, creating scalable, intuitive, and intelligent products.

You’re comfortable with ambiguity, move quickly, and take ownership—unblocking yourself and others to drive impact. Your work will directly improve how customers activate and personalize data, driving adoption, efficiency, and revenue.

This role is for a designer who sees AI as both a design tool and a design challenge: someone who can use AI to work faster and smarter, and who can craft experiences that make AI feel intuitive, trustworthy, and human.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the latest techniques of AI design and testing to rapidly build prototypes and scale UAT.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end experiences across traditional UI and AI-powered workflows, defining and evolving interaction patterns (e.g., automation, human-in-the-loop, recommendation systems, smart assistants)
  • Build and maintain scalable systems, patterns, and components, ensuring consistency and quality across products
  • Define and evolve UX standards for AI features across Rokt’s product suite, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and ethical design principles.
  • Translate complex ML model outputs and data-driven insights into intuitive, user-centered product experiences that are explainable and trustworthy.
  • Work across teams with a system-level mindset, while mentoring others and raising the overall bar for craft and quality
  • Embed AI tools (e.g., generative design, LLM-assisted synthesis, AI prototyping) throughout your design process to increase velocity and creative range.
  • Experiment with and evaluate emerging AI design tools, advocating internally for those that meaningfully improve the team’s output quality or speed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX or product design experience, ideally in SaaS, complex data platforms, or AI/ML-powered products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes, high-quality UI, and measurable business or user outcomes — including at least one AI or data-driven product experience.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in your design workflow and user acceptance testing (e.g., generative design tools, LLM-assisted research synthesis, AI-powered prototyping).
  • Proficiency in Figma, with a strong eye for visual design and interaction quality
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies to collaborate effectively with engineers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced, agile environments
  • Collaborative team player who contributes to and elevates design quality across the team
  • Bias for action—uses prototypes, experiments, and AI-assisted tools to iterate quickly
  • Strong ownership mindset, able to drive work forward and unblock challenges across teams

Benefits

    • Equity in a profitable, fast-growing company approaching $1 Billion in revenue.
    • Fully funded health insurance.
    • Company matching on 401k contributions (up to 4% of annual salary)
    • Catered lunch daily, stocked pantry & fridges
    • Dog-friendly office
    • Generous allowances for wellness, technology, mobile, and transit.
    • Extra leave (bonus annual leave, sabbatical leave etc.)

We believe we're better together and are in the office most days (4 days per week). We also understand that you need to balance your life and your commitments so you have the flexibility to manage your own hours.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
