Responsibilities
Supporting and growing a talented team of UX designers, creating an inclusive, collaborative environment where individuals thrive and do their best work.
Collaborating closely with partners in product, engineering, and AI to co-create experiences that truly meet user needs across Zoom’s core platforms—Meetings, Mobile, Rooms, and Workspaces.
Championing user-centered design practices, guiding the team to create thoughtful, intuitive solutions that deliver real value to people.
Ensuring high-quality design execution, encouraging creative exploration while helping the team validate and refine ideas through testing and feedback.
Navigating complex projects with care, aligning diverse stakeholders across time zones and teams to keep work moving smoothly and with purpose.
Building trusted relationships with leadership and peers, communicating design thinking in ways that inspire, align, and influence toward better outcomes for users.
What we’re looking for
Hold a BSc or equivalent experience.
Have extensive product design experience (10+) with solid visual design skills and a user-centered, design thinking approach.
Have solid experience (7+) leading and managing designers, including hybrid/virtual teams, with proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
Have experience (3+) collaborating with executive leaders and influencing strategic direction.
Be skilled in managing complex, cross-functional projects across time zones and stakeholder groups.
Be experienced in multi-platform design, including desktop, web, mobile, and other devices.
Be an excellent communicator with the ability to advocate for design and push partners with innovative thinking;
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$146 700,00Maximum:
$339 300,00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
