In This Role
In this role, the UX/UI Developer will focus on creating high‑impact internal tools that elevate employee productivity and improve customer‑facing operations. The position involves designing and developing intuitive user experiences and data‑driven interfaces that support functions such as customer service, sales, account management, and marketing. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in UX, interaction design, visual design, and product design, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business development teams and internal stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and project requirements.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and scope within time, technical, and cost constraints.
- Design, develop, and modify user interfaces and software systems using data‑driven insights, scientific analysis, and modeling to predict and measure outcomes.
- Plan and define system specifications, layouts, workflows, and modifications to peripheral equipment or supporting systems.
- Coordinate installation of software systems and monitor performance to ensure alignment with design specifications.
- Leverage strong communication and problem‑solving skills to align design decisions with end‑user needs and organizational goals.
- Contribute high‑quality UX, interaction design, and visual design work across internal product initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in:
- UX / Interaction Design
- Visual Design
- Product Design
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in software design and development.
- Professional experience in UI development and data‑driven UI design.
- Strong communication abilities, including the capability to convey design rationale and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A robust, high‑quality design portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design, UX case studies, and visual design expertise.
- Experience building internal tools or enterprise SaaS interfaces.
- Prior experience working in cross‑functional technical environments with engineering, product, sales, and operations teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to present complex design decisions clearly, especially in audio‑only formats.
Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $103,000 to $113,000 USD/Year. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
