Mob Entertainment is a startup multimedia studio that is best known for our hit indie horror game "Poppy Playtime".  This franchise is one of the hottest new properties in gaming, and our team is naturally expanding as our ambition expands.  To give a taste of our brand's popularity, more than 100 billion YouTube views of Poppy Playtime related content have occured since the game's launch 4 years ago. 


Our studio is seeking a seasoned Senior Tools & Pipeline Technical Artist/Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our creative workflow, empowering our artists, and ensuring the seamless integration of art assets into our games. Collaborating closely with artists, engineers, and technical artists, you will spearhead the development and optimization of tools within Unreal Engine and various Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of game development and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with artists and engineers to refine and optimize our creative workflow and toolset.
  • Provide technical support and develop custom tools to streamline art production processes.
  • Utilize scripting languages like Python and Blueprint to extend the functionality of DCC tools and Unreal Engine.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Actively participate in feedback sessions and contribute to a positive and innovative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Maya, Substance, and Photoshop.
  • Strong background in game development, with experience using Unreal Engine.
  • Demonstrated ability to write scripts and develop tools to enhance artist productivity.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with asset management and performance optimization techniques.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with C++ and/or C#.
  • Previous experience in shader development and optimization.
  • Experience with designing and implementing procedural systems
  • Experience working with Houdini
