About this Role
Cloudflare is seeking an experienced Account Executive (AE) to lead sales efforts for the Cloudflare Developer Platform-including Workers, Workers KV, Durable Objects, R2, Queues, and related edge-compute solutions-targeting clients in the iGaming and adult entertainment sectors.
This role focuses on new business development, solution-led sales, and helping customers adopt Cloudflare's globally distributed serverless platform to achieve high performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Account Ownership
- Own full-cycle sales for customers in the iGaming and adult entertainment industries
- Identify new opportunities and drive expansion within assigned accounts
- Understand industry-specific challenges (e.g., high concurrency, global distribution, latency-critical workloads, authentication flows, payment processes)
- Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Demonstrate the value of Cloudflare Workers, Workers KV, Durable Objects, and other developer-platform products
- Work closely with customer engineering, architecture, and security teams to map requirements
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value propositions
- Manage leads, opportunities, forecasting and accurate CRM hygiene
- Coordinate with internal teams (Solutions Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance) to deliver proposals, pricing, and contracts
- Drive deals from initial evaluation to close
- Develop deep insights into the iGaming and adult entertainment ecosystems
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams on customer needs and product improvements
- Support go-to-market strategies and help refine positioning for the dev
- 3-7 years of B2B tech sales experience, ideally with cloud, CDN, edge compute, serverless, or developer platforms
- Solid understanding of modern web / application architectures (high concurrency, global distribution, low-latency workloads, API ecosystems)
- Ability to present to both technical and business stakeholders (CTOs, architects, developers, product owners)
- Proven ability to lead complex sales cycles and close enterprise-level deals
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience selling into iGaming or adult entertainment sectors
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, serverless architectures, or edge runtimes
- Experience working with global customers and distributed teams
- Knowledge of security products (WAF, bot mitigation, DDoS protection
- Passionate about cloud computing, serverless, and edge technologies
- Enjoys consultative selling and helping customers solve complex technical challenges
- Self-driven and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Thrives in a global, highly technical organization
