StackAdapt is hiring our first Senior Technical Sourcer to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will focus on creatively identifying, engaging, and nurturing top-tier technical talent across Software Engineering, Data Science, Product, and related technical functions. You’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to build strategic sourcing plans, provide talent insights, and help StackAdapt stay competitive in a rapidly evolving tech talent market.
This role is ideal for a proactive and insights-driven sourcing specialist who is passionate about Talent Acquisition and how we deliver diverse, high-quality pipelines, and understands how to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What you'll be doing
- Build and manage strong pipelines of technical talent across engineering, data, and product disciplines using advanced sourcing techniques and tools
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, technical skillsets, and team priorities
- Craft compelling outreach and nurture strategies to convert passive candidates into engaged prospects, and then A/B test to see what performs best
- Maintain structured sourcing plans with regular reporting on outreach metrics, candidate quality, and funnel health that drive iterative improvements
- Partner directly with hiring leaders to execute talent market mapping efforts to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for proactive engagement
- Develop and implement employer brand strategies to engage, activate, and attract top technical talent across key channels
- Develop and share sourcing best practices across the TA team, helping to uplevel overall sourcing capabilitiesPrioritize inclusive sourcing practices and build diverse candidate pipelines for every search
- Use StackAdapt’s ATS and CRM tools to track and manage candidate pipelines effectively
What You'll Bring to the Table
- 5+ years' exerience and passion for technical sourcing or recruiting, with a strong focus on outbound talent engagement
- Expertise in sourcing for roles in software engineering, data science, infrastructure, or similar technical areas
- Proficiency with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Gem, and other sourcing tools, as well as more creative avenues like Reddit, events, and x-ray sourcing
- Abundant creativity in creating personalized outreach skills
- Proven ability in managing sourcing pipelines, prioritizing competing needs, and adapting to evolving hiring goals
- Experience using data to inform strategies, share insights, and improve sourcing outcomes
- Deep understanding of DEI best practices in talent sourcing
- Highly organized and self-directed with a bias for action and experimentation
