This role sits at the intersection of product development, customer engagement, and technical sales, playing a key part in shaping how we communicate our product's value.

You will deep dive into the core product technology stack to build compelling solution blueprints & reference architectures, drive implementation scenarios to support Proof of Concepts (PoC’s), customer data evaluations, interactive demo tools, and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses — leveraging deep industry domain knowledge and product expertise to align our solutions with customer needs.

  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Support: Lead or assist in the creation and delivery of tailored PoC’s and solution playbooks that reflect real-world customer requirements, demonstrating strong technical alignment and product-market fit.
  • RFP/RFQ Contributions & Automation: Connect the technical portions of Multi-Industry RFP/RFQ responses into automation workstream, ensuring clear, accurate, and compelling explanations of product features, architecture, integrations, and scalability.
  • Industry specific business logic Domain Knowledge Application: Apply deep understanding of industry-specific workflows, compliance requirements, and technical ecosystems to craft solution playbooks that resonate with stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Interactive Demo Tools: Design, build, and maintain interactive, scalable demo tools that showcase cross functional product capabilities in realistic scenarios tailored to target personas and industry use cases.
  • Data Evaluation & Technical Insights: Analyze customer datasets to validate product performance, produce actionable findings, and deliver insights that support sales, customer success, and product refinement.
Who are you?

  • Strong product acumen with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to align customer use cases and business logic with product capabilities through deep domain knowledge in fleet, mobility and road transportation
  • Experience developing demo environments, prototypes, or sandbox environments and using GenAI coding tools (e.g., using CoPilot, React, Python, APIs, cloud services).
  • Familiarity with working on structured data (SQL, CSV, JSON) and analytical workflows.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to RFPs, RFQs, or security questionnaires.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Deep understanding of the Maps, Location & Navigation industry and emerging trends

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
