- Talent Sourcing and Engagement
- Identify and engage top technical talent across Product Design Engineering and GTM using innovative sourcing strategies.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Develop tailored outreach strategies to highlight the company’s mission and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with engineering managers to define job requirements and hiring timelines.
- Advise hiring teams on market trends, talent availability, and best practices in technical recruitment.
- Facilitate regular updates with stakeholders to align on hiring progress and strategy adjustments
- Work closely with leadership on HR-related initiatives that impact company culture and retention.
- Act as a bridge between recruitment and HR to ensure a cohesive hiring-to-employee experience transition.
- Candidate Assessment and Experience
- Screen candidates for technical skills and cultural fit, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Design and manage consistent, rigorous evaluation processes with interview panels.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, reflecting the company’s mission and values.
- Data-Driven Recruitment
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to refine sourcing strategies and optimize workflows.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure transparency.
- Technical Hiring Expertise
- Develop deep knowledge of technical roles, such as backend development and IoT solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends to align hiring efforts with market demands.
- People Operations
- Assist in onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and strong first impression.
- Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Support the implementation and administration of HR policies and programs.
- Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development efforts.
Attributes:
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle technical recruitment, preferably in fast-growing technology companies or industries involving predictive technology, software development, or data-driven solutions. Experience within healthcare is a plus but not required.
- Proven expertise in sourcing and hiring for technical and GTM roles, including backend engineering, API development, data science, machine learning, and DevOps, as well as select commercial roles in product management or technical sales.
- Ability to partner effectively with technical hiring managers and leadership, gaining a deep understanding of team needs and aligning recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent.
- Proficiency in technical recruiting tools and platforms, including ATS systems, sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow), and technical assessment platforms (e.g., HackerRank, Codility).
- Skilled in evaluating technical candidates, with the ability to screen for relevant skills, experience, and cultural alignment.
- Experience recruiting for both hybrid and distributed teams, ensuring a consistent and positive candidate experience across all engagement touchpoints.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment, demonstrating flexibility, resilience, and the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs.
