The Senior Technical Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, engage with senior leadership, optimize hiring processes, and focus on diversity in sourcing strategies.
We are seeking a Contract Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience sourcing and hiring high-caliber technical talent across various disciplines, such as software engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. This role is pivotal for managing senior-level searches, engaging with VP+ and C-suite stakeholders, and building effective partnerships across the Tech and People organizations. You will play a critical role in shaping our team by identifying and engaging talent that contributes to the diversity and success of our teams at Ro and by facilitating a seamless hiring process.
This will be a 6-month contract with the potential to extend.
What You'll Do:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment | Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, from job requisition to offer acceptance. Lead and implement innovative recruitment strategies and develop targeted outreach plans to identify and attract exceptional technical talent.
- Talent Sourcing & Diversity | Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, AI-driven approaches, and niche job platforms, to proactively build talent pipelines. Champion and embed diversity-focused sourcing strategies to attract and engage a diverse candidate pool, ensuring inclusive hiring practices that align with our commitment to building a diverse workforce.
- Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration | Engage and build relationships with stakeholders across the Tech org, including VP+ and C-suite leadership. Adopt a consultative approach and provide expert guidance to hiring managers and other key stakeholders. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the People and Talent teams.
- Process Design & Optimization | Design and own structured, competency-based interview practices and refine processes to optimize candidate experience and recruiting impact.
- Data-Driven Insights | Analyze recruiting metrics, including pipeline and sourcing conversion rates, to identify roadblocks and develop strategic solutions. Use these insights to engage stakeholders and drive improvements in the hiring process.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Experience | 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience. Subject-matter expertise in Software Engineering, Mobile (iOS), Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity. Our ideal candidate has experience and thrives in scaling startups or high-growth companies with evolving processes.
- Strong Stakeholder Management | Proven ability to effectively partner with, guide, and coach hiring managers, interviewers, and other key stakeholders. Experience working closely with senior leadership and People Partners.
- Sourcing Expertise | Expert-level sourcing capabilities using creative, multi-platform strategies.
- Communication Skills | Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Process Design & Ownership | Deep understanding of structured interview processes, competency-based evaluations, and recruitment process optimization. Proven experience successfully driving and implementing these practices.
- Diversity and Inclusion | Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the recruiting process.
- Analytical Mindset | Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment metrics to assess and improve recruitment processes.
The hourly rate for new hires in this position is $80-$89. When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
