As a Senior Technical Program Manager with 2XKO, you will play a pivotal role in driving both technical and operational initiatives within the game team.  You will oversee a variety of complex, cross-functional programs, ensuring the delivery of high-impact projects that enhance our technical infrastructure, streamline workflows, and support the overall operational and delivery health of the game.

Working closely with teams across engineering, design, QA and production, you will rally the troops and implement projects and processes that support collaboration, sustainable growth, improved efficiency, and maintain our commitment to providing genre-defining experiences. This role reports into the Director of Game Production.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure healthy, consistent and timely delivery of the game’s releases by working closely with relevant internal teams
  • Align autonomous teams towards complex programs centered around 2XKO’s strategic product and technology priorities
  • Evangelize processes and delivery methodologies to ensure we accomplish our goals
  • Facilitate and manage Agile project management ceremonies and processes for large or team-of-team project teams
  • Collaborate with production and engineering leads to manage technical and operational initiatives
  • Identify technical and operational gaps across 2XKO
  • Manage risks and issues across technical and operational initiatives across 2XKO
  • Foster transparency and predictability by building and maintaining clear plans for projects
  • Maintain partner relationships, providing visibility into workstreams and maintaining partner satisfaction

Required Qualifications 

  • 7+ years in program management, project management, or a similar role, with at least 3+ years supporting game development or technical initiatives in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of leading global product or feature launches, with a strong understanding of cross-functional dependencies, regional requirements, and coordination needed for successful worldwide releases
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and effectively prioritize tasks in alignment with studio goals
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with iterative development methodologies like Scrum & Agile, and have used supporting software (i.e. JIRA)
  • Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment, with a capacity to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on critical project outcomes
  • Understanding technical components of projects including architecture, tools and deployment practices that development teams employ
  • Desire to improve Riot's ability to make the impossible happen for players

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous program experience in a large distributed organization.
  • Experience managing hardware/software/video game products through the entire life cycle – from conception, development and launch to maintaining and operating a live service.
  • Experience working on a variety of software products in the gaming or entertainment space.
