Technical Project Manager - Software
As our Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating across all software engineering teams and driving integrated hardware and software program milestones. This includes, but is not limited to creating program schedules, evaluating costs, managing risks and key stakeholder interactions. In this role, you will:
- Drive detailed planning for software projects
- Track and document project progress
- Serve as a liaison between the software engineering team and other project stakeholders, such as hardware and operations
- Drive risk and opportunity implementation and organization
- Identify and implement strategies to ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Work closely within the Program Management team to ensure PM best practices and processes are implemented within the software team
Requirements
- BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Strong communication skills
- Highly detail oriented
- >3 years Experience with complex integrated hardware and software products (firmware)
- >2 years in a project management role
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, overcome obstacles with creative solutions, and clearly document/communicate tactical plans
