This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Analytics and Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as expertise in data warehousing tools like Snowflake, SAP, and data science and analytics. The candidate should excel at gathering and comprehending strategic business needs and translating them into effective data engineering and analytics solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Analysis:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and challenges.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
    • Develop and present strategic recommendations to align data and analytics initiatives with the overall business strategy.

 

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Possess deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Snowflake, SAP, and data science and analytics tools and technologies.
    • Design and implement scalable data architecture and analytics solutions in cloud environments.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering and analytics.

 

  • Data Engineering and Integration:
    • Lead the design and development of data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
    • Ensure data quality and reliability through effective data governance practices.
    • Integrate data from various sources to create a unified and comprehensive data ecosystem.

 

  • Analytics and Insights:
    • Utilize advanced analytics techniques and data science methodologies to derive actionable insights from data.
    • Develop and implement predictive and prescriptive analytics models to support decision-making processes.
    • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

 

  • Project Management:
    • Manage end-to-end data engineering and analytics projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline management.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

 

  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Collaborate effectively with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to drive data initiatives forward.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science).
  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in technical business and analytics strategy roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Expertise in Snowflake, SAP, and data science and analytics tools.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms and data technologies are advantageous.
