CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Senior – National Exempt Tax to join our talented firm. The position offers growth, opportunities for advancement, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Senior – National Exempt Tax role:
- Serve tax exempt clients in the Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Nonprofit industries
- Assist clients with meeting their tax and day to day compliance needs.

- You have a knack for solving issues and confidently bring solutions to the table.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm
- Experience specializing in tax exempt organizations preferred
- Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred (JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)
Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
The compensation range for this position in California is: $84,400.00 – $143,000.00
