The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and creative roles, partner with stakeholders, and enhance candidate experience.
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role will partner closely with multiple North American studios to plan, lead, and execute end-to-end recruitment efforts across technical and creative disciplines. The ideal candidate brings strong stakeholder partnership skills, thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience while supporting studio hiring goals.
Key Responsibilities- Own and lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across multiple functions, from workforce planning through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Art, Production, and Leadership to understand hiring priorities, team needs, and delivery timelines.
- Manage high-volume recruitment across technical and creative roles, including Software Engineers, Artists, Designers, and Producers.
- Act as a strategic hiring partner, advising stakeholders on talent market conditions, role scoping, and hiring strategies.
- Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using ATS, job boards, referrals, social platforms, networking, and passive sourcing.
- Design and optimize recruitment processes to support speed, quality, and candidate experience in a fast-moving production environment.
- Drive employer branding efforts, including social media campaigns and recruitment messaging that reflect the studio’s culture and values.
- Collaborate with external recruitment partners and vendors to support specialized or hard-to-fill roles.
- Lead offer management and negotiations, including compensation alignment, approvals, background checks, and onboarding coordination.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally supporting high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience recruiting technical and/or creative roles, including engineers, artists, designers, or producers.
- Strong experience partnering with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Hands-on expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment reporting. (Workable)

- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive in fast-paced production environments.
- Passion for video games and interactive entertainment is highly valued.
- Prior experience in the video game industry is not required, but familiarity with development roles and pipelines is an asset.
Salary up to $120,000CAD/year* based on experience.
