The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner drives the recruitment process by partnering with hiring managers to understand business needs, sourcing and screening top talent, guiding candidates through the hiring process, and ensuring a successful match between hiring needs and candidates’ experiences, interests, and career goals. This role aims to contribute to the company's mission by identifying and hiring the talent that drives innovation and success. You will specifically support recruiting efforts for our G&A and Finance teams, but lean in to support other Go-To-Market areas as bandwidth allows.

This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office 2-3 days per week. You will report to our Manager, Talent Acquisition and be based out of the New York City office.

You’ll Get To…
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for highly strategic and complex roles across multiple teams, including G&A and Finance.
  • Design and execute advanced sourcing strategies that go beyond traditional methods, with a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and analyze effectiveness to optimize future efforts.
  • Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers, providing market insights, influencing hiring decisions, and presenting weekly search updates.
  • Translate business goals and needs into comprehensive recruiting strategies, and co-author compelling job postings and communication plans that attract top-tier talent.
  • Proactively manage multiple high-priority pipelines, leveraging a deep understanding of market trends and business priorities.
  • Elevate the overall candidate experience by implementing best practices and serving as a brand ambassador, ensuring a seamless and positive journey from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all applicants, referrals, and internal candidates, providing expert guidance and timely, on-brand communication.
  • Maintain data integrity and leverage reporting in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) to provide strategic insights and drive process improvements.
  • Mentor and guide junior recruiters or team members to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Lead internal and cross-functional projects that enhance and scale recruiting strategies, processes, or technologies across the organization.
  • Learn from senior team members, develop your recruiting expertise, and demonstrate a growth mindset.
Who We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience with in-house, full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on supporting highly strategic and complex client groups. Added bonus if you have previous experience successfully recruiting for G&A or Finance teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and navigate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in elevating the candidate experience and serving as a brand ambassador throughout the hiring process.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of independently leading and executing projects that improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • A positive and adaptable attitude with the ability to influence stakeholders, mentor teammates, and drive change.
  • Curiosity around AI and how we can leverage tools to streamline efficiency.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
