At Layup Parts, we're developing the technology that will build the future.
We're a manufacturing technology company replacing months of lead time with days, using proprietary software, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems built for speed. Our customers are inventing what's next, in aerospace, defense, robotics, and beyond. To keep up with them, manufacturing has to change. That's what we're building.
As we continue to scale, we're looking for a highly organized, relationship-driven Senior Talent Acquisition Partner who can run high-volume, fast-cycle recruiting and longer-cycle, specialized technical searches side by side, and knows how to shift gears between the two.
What You'll Work On
Own full-cycle recruiting across a diverse portfolio, from high-volume production and skilled trades roles to specialized software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering searches, adjusting sourcing strategy and cadence to fit each.
Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to hiring managers — coaching on role definition, interview process design, feedback calibration, and closing strategy, not just executing against a req.
Define scope and sourcing approach for hard-to-fill and specialized roles, including market mapping of the competitive talent landscape.
Prioritize and manage a portfolio of concurrent requisitions based on business urgency, hiring manager needs, and shifting priorities.
Build and maintain sourcing engines for diverse hiring verticals (e.g. staffing agency partnerships, trade schools, local outreach, Boolean/X-ray search, GitHub, technical communities, etc.)
Drive structured interview loops from initial outreach through offer negotiation and close, including panel calibration and feedback synthesis.
Maintain accurate, real-time requisition and candidate data in the ATS, and proactively use pipeline conversion, source effectiveness, and time-to-fill data to guide hiring manager conversations rather than just report after the fact.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated success across both ends of the spectrum, high-volume production/skilled trades hiring and specialized technical or engineering searches, in a hardware, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume requisition load independently.
Demonstrated success sourcing and closing candidates across both competitive technical talent markets and high-volume production/trades pipelines, including creative approaches beyond standard job boards.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, resource-lean startup environment where you’ll wear multiple hats.
Bonus Points
Experience recruiting in composite manufacturing or a related technical manufacturing field
Experience recruiting in a highly regulated or defense/aerospace environment
Experience scaling an organization through periods of rapid growth
