You will lead recruiting for Marketing, Design, and Admin teams, sourcing talent proactively, partnering with hiring managers, and utilizing data-driven insights to enhance processes.
Hi, I’m Lauren, one of the Associate Managers on the Talent Acquisition team here at Jane, and I'm the hiring manager for this role. I’ve been with Jane for over two years, and in that time, our team has focused on hiring exceptional people, creating thoughtful experiences for both candidates and stakeholders, and continuously improving the systems that support how we hire. Supporting a high-growth company like Jane is fast-paced and challenging, but it’s also deeply rewarding. Every hire directly shapes the tools and experiences that help thousands of clinics thrive, and the impact of our work is tangible.
In this role, your primary focus will be growing Jane’s Marketing, Design, and Admin teams (including People and Finance) across Canada and the US. While these will be your core areas, you’ll also support and source in other parts of the business when needed, such as Product or Support. You’ll bring a sourcing-first mindset, proactively finding and engaging great people before roles even open. Partnering closely with hiring managers, you’ll help define what great looks like, shape efficient and thoughtful processes, and deliver candidate experiences that reflect Jane’s values and pace of growth.
You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, able to figure things out when the path isn’t clear, and thrive in the uncomfortable. You bring high agency, work at pace, and stay focused on achieving meaningful outcomes.
What I love most about Jane is how meaningful the work feels. I get to solve important problems, see the results of my efforts, and watch the people we hire succeed and grow. It’s incredibly fulfilling. Jane challenges me to bring my best every day while supporting me as a mom of five, which means everything. It’s a place where people genuinely care about one another, push for excellence, and build something meaningful together.
What Impact We’re Looking for You to Make
- Proactively source and recruit top talent across Marketing, Design, and Admin teams (People and Finance), while flexing into other areas such as Product and Support as needed. Build strong pipelines and uncover great candidates within and beyond your networks.
- Lead with a sourcing-first mindset, identifying and nurturing talent early to meet both current and future business needs.
- Partner closely with stakeholders, helping hiring managers shape roles, complete thoughtful intakes, and align on what great looks like before searches begin.
- Experiment with AI to improve recruiting processes, streamline workflows, and enhance how we hire at scale.
- Use data and insight to influence decisions, sharing trends, results, and recommendations that help Jane hire smarter and continuously evolve.
What Experience We Need
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced Product or SaaS environments, with a proven ability to balance hands-on recruiting and continuous process improvement.
- Proven track record of proactively sourcing and hiring across Marketing, Design, and Admin teams (People and Finance) in both the U.S. and Canada, including senior and leadership roles, with the flexibility to support other departments. Skilled at building strong pipelines and uncovering exceptional talent through networks, research, and creative outreach.
- Experience partnering deeply with hiring managers and People Partners to shape roles, run thoughtful intakes, and translate business needs into actionable, aligned hiring strategies.
- An iterative and data-driven approach, using insights to refine sourcing strategies, streamline processes, and make evidence-based decisions that strengthen hiring outcomes.
- Comfortable with modern recruiting tools and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, GPT, and Slack, with a bias toward action and experimentation to improve efficiency.
- Strong communicator and collaborator experienced in working with distributed teams, maintaining clarity, trust, and pace across time zones.
