As Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for;
  • Support full‑lifecycle development of advanced satellite systems, including requirements definition, system design, integration, testing, and operational planning.
  • Translate mission objectives and technical constraints into structured system‑level requirements and ensure proper flow‑down to subsystems and components.
  • Perform system architecture trades, high‑level design evaluations, and Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) analyses.
  • Develop verification plans, traceability matrices, and test documentation to validate system performance and mission readiness.
  • Coordinate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to manage interfaces, resolve technical issues, and guide design decisions.
  • Lead or support integration activities spanning spacecraft bus, payload, avionics, launch preparation, and mission operations.
  • Contribute to long‑term product roadmap development, including design evolution, cost targets, and customization processes for new missions.
  • Promote design reuse and process optimization to reduce cost, improve manufacturability, and enhance system reliability.
Qualifications;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7–9+ years of experience in aerospace or complex hardware system development across concept design, manufacturing, integration, test, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of spacecraft systems, including software, electrical power systems, data handling, communications, navigation, and attitude control.
  • Experience developing and decomposing system requirements, performing verification and validation, and using requirements‑management tools.
  • Familiarity with MBSE practices and SysML‑based modeling tools.
  • Ability to drive multi‑disciplinary engineering activities and collaborate with diverse technical teams.
  • Experience performing specialty engineering analyses (e.g., reliability, safety, maintainability, survivability, system security).
  • Clear and concise communication skills with demonstrated ability to operate in fast‑moving, technically complex environments.
  • U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $175,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
