RPA is seeking a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer to join our IT team and serve as a key technical leader responsible for infrastructure, cybersecurity, endpoint management, and cloud operations.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys both day-to-day operational ownership and strategic technology initiatives. The successful candidate will help maintain and modernize our enterprise infrastructure while contributing to long-term initiatives including Nutanix adoption, cybersecurity maturity, endpoint modernization, and cloud transformation across AWS and Azure.

What You'll Do

Infrastructure & Systems Engineering

  • Administer and maintain VMware and Nutanix environments
  • Manage Windows and Linux server infrastructure
  • Support enterprise storage platforms including NetApp and Quantum
  • Administer backup and recovery solutions using Veeam and BackupExec
  • Maintain disaster recovery infrastructure and documentation
  • Manage Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure and related services
  • Administer SSL certificates and secure file transfer platforms
  • Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and lifecycle management for infrastructure systems

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Act as a primary technical resource for cybersecurity initiatives
  • Manage Arctic Wolf MDR and vulnerability management processes
  • Participate in security incident response and remediation efforts
  • Support SOC2 compliance initiatives and technical audit requirements
  • Drive vulnerability remediation and continuous security improvement efforts

Endpoint & Identity Management

  • Manage Jamf Pro for macOS and iOS device administration
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and Entra ID environments
  • Support device compliance, configuration management, and security policies
  • Manage identity platforms, MFA, and access controls in Okta
  • Maintain endpoint security standards and lifecycle management processes

Cloud & Modernization Initiatives

  • Support AWS-hosted applications and infrastructure
  • Assist with Azure adoption and hybrid-cloud architecture initiatives
  • Evaluate and migrate appropriate on-premises workloads to cloud platforms
  • Implement infrastructure automation and cloud governance best practices
  • Participate in cloud cost optimization efforts
  • Support backup, recovery, and resiliency initiatives within cloud environments
  • Help execute RPA's long-term cloud transformation roadmap

SaaS & Business Systems

  • Support Okta identity and provisioning services
  • Administer Atlassian platforms including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Support Tableau platform administration
  • Maintain integrations between enterprise systems and business applications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise Windows Server environments
  • Experience with VMware virtualization technologies
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience administering enterprise storage platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
  • Experience with enterprise security platforms and vulnerability management
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Nutanix AHV or HCI platforms
  • Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Jamf Pro and/or InTune MDM administration
  • Experience working in SOC2-regulated environments
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.)
  • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

First 90 Days

  • Gain ownership of core infrastructure systems
  • Develop familiarity with RPA's security and compliance platforms
  • Establish operational documentation and procedures
  • Assist with ongoing modernization projects

First Year

  • Successfully support Nutanix migration initiatives
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation
  • Strengthen cybersecurity and compliance posture
  • Advance AWS and Azure cloud transformation efforts
  • Improve resiliency, disaster recovery, and infrastructure scalability

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually
