Job Summary: 

The Senior Supply Chain Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to procurement, contractual, company and regulatory standards across all supplier activities, facilitating comprehensive compliance programs, and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain. This role partners with internal teams to monitor supplier compliance, manage risk, and enhance operational efficiency, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Supplier Risk and Category Management.

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor regulatory landscape by keeping track of regulations that impact supply chain at Epirus
  • Supplier Onboarding: Responsible for onboarding, verifying, and maintenance of supplier records.
  • Performance Evaluations: Conduct procurement analysis and compliance evaluations to assess procurement activities against FAR/DFARS, government regulations, and customer contract requirements.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop supply chain policies with cross functional teams to include thoughtful procedures and practices to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance while increasing supply chain efficiency and automation.
  • Audit Oversight: Lead post-award procurement audits, identify non-compliance issues, and create corrective action plans with ongoing monitoring and reporting.
  • Supplier Evaluation and Risk Management: Conduct supplier risk assessments, audits, and quality evaluations as part of supplier qualifications, including handling change notifications and facilitating Supplier Quality Agreements.
  • Supplier Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with Contracts, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to develop vendor risk management protocols, conducting risk assessments and design mitigation plans.
  • Create Compliance Programs: Develop and manage supplier compliance programs addressing procurement, cybersecurity, and commercial requirements, setting metrics and KPIs to gauge effectiveness.
  • Training & Awareness: Lead training sessions to increase awareness and knowledge of compliance policies among internal stakeholders and suppliers, providing guidance on audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with teams in Procurement, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to ensure alignment on compliance, identify process improvement opportunities, and encourage automation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and enhance compliance procedures, implementing innovative solutions and cross-functional improvements.
  • Systems & Data Management: Work with IT, Accounting, and Finance to maintain accurate and compliant procurement and financial systems, ensuring data integrity and secure storage while working towards automation.
  • Problem Solver: Focused of critical problem solving on how to support compliance while supporting company objectives with the ability to challenge how to process requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Subcontract management experience
  • Terms and Conditions negotiations
  • Review and approve compliance-related documents, data, and reports.
  • Facilitate supplier quality agreements and perform regular quality audits.
  • Update quality databases and support quality systems, including vendor management and scorecards.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory issues and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely completion of required compliance training and adherence to company policies.
  • Participate as an active member of the Compliance team and serve as a mentor, utilizing benefit selling, training, and guidance sharing skillsets.
  • Maintain and enhance strong supplier relationships.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Law, or related field,
  • Minimum 8 years in supply chain or compliance management, with strong knowledge of procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Experience with other regulatory entities for compliance to government contracts, like US Government Property Management
  • Experience in building a compliant procurement process with the ability to help drive automation.
  • Experience with government auditors and successfully passing audits particularly with CPSR, DCMA, DCAA and other governing bodies – with successfully passing a CPSR audit.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills; experience in ERP or CRM systems preferred.
  • Compliance Mindset: Demonstrated commitment to compliance, ethical decision-making, and continuous process improvement with a strong focus on efficiency and throughput.
  • Apply your expertise in compliance management to ensure Epirus’ supply chain meets the highest standards of integrity, efficiency, and regulatory adherence.
  • Ability to make logical, reasoned decisions in ambiguous situations.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Data Analytics – BAQs, SQL, DMT, Query/Script creation
  • APICS / ISM / ASCM Certification
  • CPSR / DCAA / AS9100 audit experience
  • Terms and Conditions / Subcontract negotiation experience
  • Corporate training

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including potential international travel. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. 

For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:

$126,700$161,200 USD
