Role Overview:  The Senior Strategy Leader is responsible for developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to identify and implement strategies that drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance competitive positioning. The scope of the role includes strategic initiatives across the Defense Engines product group, including turboprop, turboshaft and turbofan applications. This position is based on-site, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead projects that are vital to our company's success.

  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans aligned with the company's vision and goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to shape strategic initiatives and build consistent processes for resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to ensure alignment and support for strategic projects.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of strategic projects, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Identify and recommend needed capabilities to support the strategy.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, including potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  • Communicate strategic objectives into clearly defined outcomes and progress to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in strategic planning or business analytics.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading successful strategic initiatives and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, able to present complex concepts in concise and actionable terms.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and business analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strategy Consulting experience in the Aerospace industry, preferably with experience working in the Defense industry.
  • Experience operationalizing strategy by setting the organization’s operational cadence, establishing and driving KPIs, evaluating performance, and suggesting measures for improvement.
  • Willing to relocate to Lynn, MA or Evendale, OH

The base pay range for this position is $193,000.00-275,000.00 The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on May 21st, 2025.
