WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to source, develop, and execute on partnerships that drive value for Qualia clients and grow the Qualia ecosystem. This position will be a member of the Strategic Partnerships team, reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships in San Francisco and working closely with various teams throughout the company, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Source, structure, negotiate, execute, and implement strategic deals involving a variety of Qualia products and services
  • Perform in-depth research and analysis of potential product & partnership opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives, including market sizing, competitive positioning assessments, solution requirements research, and trend analysis that shapes both partnership strategy and product roadmap
  • Work with both internal and external product, sales, operations, and marketing teams to drive successful partnership outcomes
  • Develop deep relationships with key partners that fit into our business plan and strategy
  • Understand business model implications and communicate in a results-oriented and financially-grounded way
YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH
  • Minimum 3 years of experience evaluating partnerships in a technology partnerships and/or consulting context
  • Technical understanding of or experience with cloud-based SaaS
  • Internal stakeholder management experience with demonstrated excellence working with company leadership, legal, product management, and marketing
  • Proven record of creating and executing on partnerships and negotiating deals
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities, with experience conducting primary research, expert interviews, competitive intelligence, or market analysis
  • Resourcefulness and initiative to create new partnership ideas and produce results in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to evaluate different options and determine "unknown unknowns" to make decisions in a complex landscape
  • Thorough understanding of a variety of business models
  • An extremely proactive, self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
  • Bonus points for any of the following: experience in a high-growth technology company, or 2+ years of experience at an investment bank, management consulting company, research advisory firm, or strategy consulting firm

While this role is based in Austin, Texas, we're open to exploring remote possibilities for qualified candidates.
