The U.S. mortgage market is a $14 trillion pillar of the economy — and much of it still runs on fax machines, overnight shipping, and manual workflows. Snapdocs is changing that. Our platform currently powers 20% of all real estate closings in the country, and we’re just getting started.

We design workflow software and AI-driven automation that connects lenders, settlement teams, notaries, and investors — eliminating friction, reducing risk, and delivering a faster, simpler closing for every borrower. Our customers range from the largest mortgage lenders to independent title companies. They trust us because we solve real operational pain with empathy, rigor, and reliability.

We’re backed by Sequoia, Y Combinator, and F-Prime, and we’re building for the long term.

The Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager will work closely with Snapdocs’ Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Success and the rest of the Strategic Partnerships team to help us identify, research, target, prioritize, and execute on potential opportunities that accelerate Snapdocs’ growth.

As a part of our Strategic Partnerships team, you’ll help us design the future of the Snapdocs partner network, ensuring both Snapdocs and our partners derive meaningful, long-term value from our partnerships.

This role may be the perfect opportunity for you, if you get excited about:

  • Cutting through complexity to solve challenging problems by identifying the most effective, yet often simple solutions
  • Utilize critical thinking strategies to find, evaluate, and synthesize information from various sources, ensuring the information is credible
  • Developing and executing impactful strategies that help companies prioritize and achieve their most important objectives
  • Delivering and quantifying tangible outcomes against big targets that drive both personal and company growth
  • Operating with a growth mind-set, and embracing new challenges with curiosity and grit.
  • Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and forging strong internal and external partnerships in support of all of the above

What you’ll do:

  • Business development strategy & leadership: Lead the full business development cycle from identification through successful launch for high-impact partnerships while also providing critical strategic and tactical support to our most complex and strategic partnerships.
  • Financial modeling & business case creation: Build robust financial models and compelling business cases that clearly define and evaluate the potential impact of opportunities on company goals. Identify deal risks and mitigants, and create comprehensive launch plans including clear scope and success metrics.
  • Industry & ecosystem engagement: Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective strategic partners, technology providers, and other industry stakeholders to help us identify, shape, and harness opportunities
  • Operational excellence & scaling: enhance or establish infrastructure to measure and optimize impact of business development activities and improve outcomes. Design and implement scalable processes that ensure operational excellence in everything we do.
  • Collaboration & Influence: build strong internal relationships to support cross-functional collaboration and alignment necessary to develop, advance, and successfully launch partnership opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You’re a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years relevant experience
  • 3+ years in top-tier management consulting or high-tech strategy/growth roles where you have a proven track record of successfully leading initiatives and hitting goals
  • 3+ years experience in technology partnerships, strategic partnerships or business development
  • Mortgage industry experience
  • Growth stage start up experience is a plus
  • A blend of creativity and analytical thinking skills
  • Complex, cross-functional project/program management experience
  • Clear and concise communication skills

Compensation:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
