About the role
Reporting to our Consulting Manager, the Middle Office Senior Strategic Consultant is a key position within the Bullhorn Professional Services Team. As a Senior Strategic Consultant, you will work directly with our largest customers around the globe to optimize their workflow and usage of the Bullhorn suite of products.
As a Middle Office Senior Strategic Consultant, you will demonstrate solid technical and functional competency around the Pay and Bill platform as well as the core ATS/CRM, supporting the implementation of packaged offerings across multiple Bullhorn product lines and developing expertise in multiple Bullhorn applications and applicable soft skills. You will focus on implementing Middle Office products, workflows, customizations, and integrations that meet the client’s pay/bill needs.
A typical day will include…
You will work closely with the customer and internal teams to understand customer requirements, provide expertise to deliver appropriate solutions, and manage expectations to deliver an incredible customer experience in relation to the Middle and Back office functions of the software
Assisting new and existing clients with business process mapping and business case analysis.
Supporting the implementation processes, including provisioning, configuration, and customization of Bullhorn applications
Consulting clients on Bullhorn and Staffing Industry best practices for Middle Office to enable system adoption and improve ROI.
Responsible for fit/gap analysis and designing a best practices pay/bill workflow that meets client payroll and billing requirements
Implementing Adoption and Change Readiness programs for new clients, providing communication planning, rollout strategies , and adoption enablement , as well as ongoing success, development of company benchmarking, feature audits and usage reviews with Enterprise level customers.
Reporting regular progress to the Professional Services leadership team with regard to the status of ongoing Middle Office projects, capacity, escalations, and other initiatives
This role is a fit for you if...
5+ years of payroll and/or billing experience, preferably in the Staffing industry.
Experience with reconciling timesheets to gross pay, gross pay to net pay and booking net pay to General Ledger.
Experience with direct billing and VMS, invoice terms, discounts, surcharges, taxes, creating invoices, and tracking receivables
A proven track record of 5+ years consulting and or project management experience for Enterprise level clients
You have 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the definition and execution of enterprise software projects in a technical, business analysis, or consulting role:
You have experience in supporting IT projects and/or implementations
You have experience in business process analysis and all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Lifecycle) methodology
Knowledge and direct experience with popular ERP packages, such as ADP, UKG, Workday, Sage Intacct, Great Plains, PeopleSoft, etc.
Extensive experience interfacing with customers of all sizes within the SaaS industry or the Staffing Industry
Track record of successfully executing against key performance indicators in an ever changing environment
Proactively recognizes opportunities & takes quick action to achieve objectives. Seeks out other perspectives to gain valuable feedback while also taking independent action to change the direction of events.
Has the ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships internally & externally to enable successful work towards a common goal with others.
Communicates key messages and concepts clearly and timely to the right audiences, both written and verbally. Effectively tailors content to the level and experience of the audience.
Bonus Points for...
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science (or a related discipline), a proven track record of relevant learning or equivalent prior work experience
Bullhorn product experience or experience supporting/implementing a recruitment ATS/CRM product
Prior experience in the recruiting industry
Managing a team responsible for payroll and/or invoicing functions
