Semtech’s Signal Integrity Products (SIP) group designs and manufactures high performance mixed-signal integrated circuits for the world’s leading data, video, and consumer communication companies. Responsibilities:
- Participate in new product design meetings to drive analog and digital DFT techniques into new designs;
- Develop and implement high-speed test solutions at package and/or wafer level for new products on the Advantest V93000 test platform, including both software and hardware;
- Work with a cross-functional product team to assess and evaluate new designs and provide feedback based on ATE test results;
- Support product qualification by developing reliability screening solutions to evaluate device performance during life testing;
- Collaborate with the Product Engineering to complete ATE characterization to ensure the robustness of IC designs and test solutions;
- Deploy the solutions to our far-shore OSATs and support the ramp-up to full production;
- Hold periodic test review meetings with key stakeholders on project teams;
- Conduct ongoing test time and yield improvements to drive continuous margin improvement;
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships across all functions within a project team (design, product, characterization, validation, applications, marketing etc.)
- Work to aggressive project timelines
- Multitask with multiple projects in different lifecycle phases
- Deliver high quality test results in line with quality management standards;
- Produce concise, accurate and timely reports and updates (written and oral), containing clearly presented results;
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline;
- At least 8 years experience in ATE semiconductor testing; V93000 experience preferred
- Experience in testing high-speed mixed signal ICs.
- Experience in bring-up and support of solutions in offshore test locations;
- Knowledge of high-speed PCB design concepts and experience in schematic level hardware design

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $103,000 - $160,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
