Join a team that powers the magic behind the scenes. The Enterprise Sourcing team is a strategic partner across the company, driving excellence in stakeholder collaboration, vendor management, and sourcing innovation. We work closely with leaders across Disney Entertainment, ESPN, and Disney Experiences—including brands like Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Searchlight, Disney+, Hulu, ABC, FX, and more—to ensure initiatives are supported by best-in-class sourcing strategies.

We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist with deep expertise in Strategic Sourcing, specifically in the area of Marketing Technology. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and collaborative partner who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing, this role offers the opportunity to influence high-impact initiatives and drive value across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sourcing strategies for Marketing Technology, with flexibility to support additional categories as needed.
  • Lead end-to-end RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), including scope development, supplier identification, bid management, evaluation, and executive-ready award recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation across Marketing Technology, while ensuring alignment with Marketing and Finance goals.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, vendors, and Legal to execute enterprise agreements, SaaS contracts, licensing negotiations, and renewals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Marketing partners, providing guidance on Sourcing approach, supplier landscape, and best-practices.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and explore innovative sourcing models to unlock enterprise-wide value.
  • Build strong relationships with Marketing and Finance partners to understand their strategic priorities and deliver tailored sourcing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships that support shared objectives, service expectations, and performance outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and vendor capabilities to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate risk.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, or related field. Marketing Technology experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills—able to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Expertise in the full Strategic Sourcing lifecycle, from strategy development to contract negotiation and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating high-value agreements with a focus on operational and financial outcomes.
  • Professional, customer-focused, and highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
  • Resourceful and effective at managing projects independently.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The hiring range for this position in California is $104,800.00 to $128,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
