We are looking for a passionate product manager to own and evolve our AI-native data platform and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the product strategy, guiding the product development teams, and ensuring the alignment of product features with strategic business goals. This role demands a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of Data & AI technologies, coupled with the ability to work effectively across teams to launch innovative, user-centric, and commercially viable Mastercard products.
Responsibilities
Define and maintain the product backlog and roadmap for the Data & AI products, aligning with overall business objectives and user needs.
Treat data as a product - establish clear data SLAs, quality metrics, and governance models.
Lead efforts to transform rich Mastercard structured and unstructured data into re-usable data primitives, ontologies, schemas and datasets.
Lead cross-functional teams (product, data engineering, data science, design, QA, devops) in the development and implementation of the Data & AI products, ensuring high quality and meeting deadlines.
Partner with security, compliancy, strategy, governance, privacy and legal teams to ensure the service adheres to industry standards and regulations.
Work closely with regional teams to translate customer requirements and regional specifics into scalable data models and workflows.
Help define and operationalize agentic AI and HITL workflows that automate data interpretation, contextualization, and decision-making.
Analyse market and industry trends and competitive solutions.
Oversee and steer the product development process, ensuring compliance with budget, scope, resources and project timelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Experience in product management of a technology-driven field, preferably with direct exposure to Data & AI products.
Strong understanding of modern data platforms, data analytics, AI/ML, product-led growth, data models, ontologies and schemas.
Proven experience building and scaling data products, including datasets, data platforms, APIs, data integration, dashboards and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product concept, pitch, strategy and roadmap and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, problem decomposition and prioritization skills in ambiguous environments, and willingness to think outside the box.
Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision, minimal resources and limited time.
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its entire lifecycle.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Science, Information Systems Science, Statistics or related fields.
Experience in finances or networks is desirable but not necessary.
