Hotels don't run on gut instinct anymore, they run on data, and you'll be the person making sure that data is accurate, accessible, and actually usable. As Senior Specialist, Market Insights, you'll be the connective tissue across Sales, Finance, Customer Strategy, and Operations for our HotStats Market Insights business, catching the details that others miss and keeping the commercial engine running smoothly.

What Makes Us Different?

Duetto is the hospitality industry's leading revenue management platform, founded in 2012 by former Wynn Resorts executives who knew the industry needed better technology. We built the world's first Revenue & Profit Operating System — a suite of tools (GameChanger, ScoreBoard, BlockBuster, Advance and more) that goes beyond room pricing to give hotels, resorts and casinos a complete picture of their revenue and profitability. Trusted by clients ranging from independent boutique hotels to global chains, we've been named the #1 Revenue Management Software by HotelTechAwards four years running and the #1 Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech in 2025. Backed by GrowthCurve Capital since 2024, we're accelerating our investment in AI — and we're genuinely passionate about the industry we serve. We build products we're proud of, for customers we care about.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own subscription, renewal, and billing administration for Market Insights, reviewing orders, quotes, and contracts for accuracy while coordinating accounts receivable follow-up with Finance
  • Manage customer procurement end-to-end (vendor registration, banking, tax, and payment setup), applying sharp judgment and independent verification whenever payment instructions look unusual
  • Keep our CRM and Market Insights product accounts clean and accurate, auditing customer, prospect, and subscription records and handling user setup, permissions, and access
  • Own reporting on renewals, receivables, pipeline, and other operational KPIs, running and validating the standard Market Insights outputs the business relies on
  • Fuel our business development efforts with sharp research: identifying prospects, mapping contacts, and keeping target lists current
  • Be the go-to first point of contact for customers and prospects, answering questions on pricing, subscriptions, and data access, and troubleshooting account issues before they become bigger problems
  • Additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

You may be a good fit if you have the following:

  • 5-8 years of experience in business operations, client service, sales operations, accounts receivable, subscription administration, finance administration, or research operations
  • A track record of independently managing detailed client or financial processes with real accuracy
  • Comfort working with financial and commercial data — percentages, prorations, discounts, variances, FX conversions, and reconciliations
  • Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, invoices, pricing schedules, and contracts
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Slack
  • Experience with CRM or financial systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, or Xero
  • Strong written and verbal communication, sharp organization, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • An openness to working alongside AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini as a force multiplier, applying your own judgment to validate the output

Strong candidates may also have:

  • Experience in hospitality technology, hospitality, financial services, market research, SaaS, subscription businesses, or data products
  • Background supporting hotel-industry research, benchmarking, or analytics
  • Familiarity with hotel performance metrics — revenue, profitability, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and GOPPAR
  • A demonstrated habit of using AI tools to boost the quality, speed, or scale of your own work
Why Duetto?
  • You'll join a genuinely AI-forward culture. Duetto is redesigning how every role works with AI, and this one is no exception. You'll be encouraged and equipped to use AI tools daily to work smarter, not just faster.
  • You'll work across nearly every part of the business, giving you visibility and relationships most roles at this level don't get
  • We build partnerships, not just processes. You'll be trusted to use judgment, flag what looks off, and take ownership rather than just checking boxes
  • We're a Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech (2025), backed by a team that genuinely loves hospitality
  • Come as you are. We want your perspective, your questions, and your ideas, not just your output

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
