As a Sr. Solutions & Pricing Engineer for Data Center Logistics, you will lead the design, costing, and implementation of complex logistics and supply chain solutions tailored for hyperscaler and enterprise data center clients across the Americas. This role focuses on developing competitive and scalable logistics models for IT infrastructure movement, including rack integration, inbound/outbound movements of hardware and network equipment, and white-glove delivery services.

You will report to the Head of Engineering & BPI – Americas, and will collaborate closely with pricing, operations, procurement, and business development teams to support new opportunities, optimize existing contracts, and ensure alignment with client SLAs and technical standards. Your expertise in supply chain design, cost modeling, warehouse engineering and automation, along with a deep understanding of data center logistics, will be critical to enabling DP World’s continued growth in this fast-evolving sector.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

50% – Solution Design & Cost Modeling for Data Center Supply Chains

  • Analyze client requirements and design complete logistics solutions across warehouse, transport, and in-site delivery, including integration and configuration
  • Build detailed operational and financial models to estimate costs (labor, transport, storage, handling, SLA penalties, etc.)
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, pricing, and procurement, to develop efficient, scalable, and SLA-compliant solutions

25% – Strategic Pricing Development

  • Develop, validate, and implement pricing structures for data center logistics services, including specialized offerings such as white-glove delivery, bonded storage, and secure asset tracking
  • Benchmark industry rates and competitor offerings to maintain competitiveness and profitability
  • Support commercial teams during RFPs and customer negotiations with pricing insights

15% – Operational Optimization & Implementation Support

  • Support implementation and ramp-up of new contracts, ensuring seamless handoff to operations
  • Optimize processes for hardware handling, configuration, kitting, asset tracking, and warehouse flows using lean and automation principles
  • Monitor key metrics post-implementation to ensure efficiency and service-level compliance

10% – Engineering & Process Standardization

  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) in logistics design and solution engineering for data center logistics across the Americas
  • Develop SOPs, process flow documentation, and scalable toolkits for replication across sites
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases and continuous improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar field
  • Experience in data center logistics, including rack and server movements and reverse logistics
  • 5–7 years in solutions engineering, cost modeling, or logistics design, preferably in a 3PL or supply chain consulting role
  • 2+ years specific to data center or high-tech logistics operations, including white-glove handling, secure transport, and warehouse design for high-value IT assets
  • Strong track record of successful solution deployment, pricing development, and operational ramp-ups
  • Solid understanding of warehouse and transportation cost drivers in high-value, secure, and SLA-driven environments
  • Knowledge of automation and material handling systems (e.g., RFID, barcoding, robotics)
  • Familiarity with hyperscaler compliance and audit standards (e.g., Google, Microsoft, AWS, Oracle)
  • Agile or lean project management experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

PREFERRED:

  • MOST Certification or Six Sigma/Lean experience
  • Experience working directly with hyperscaler accounts, large colocation providers or network equipment vendors

COMPENSATION:

Minimum Salary: $89,000    Maximum Salary: $130,000

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
