About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be the technical backbone of Daloopa's go-to-market team, partnering with Account Executives to win large deals across both buy-side and sell-side institutions. Your mission? Translate complex data and workflow requirements from equity research, investment banking, portfolio management, and data/technology leaders into compelling technical solutions. You'll lead technical discovery, design and deliver tailored product demos, and work hand-in-hand with prospects' infosec, data, and engineering teams to prove out integrations and close deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Sales Account Executives to provide product demonstrations and share areas of value being received by Daloopa’s customers through storytelling, such as during earnings season, initiating coverage on a new company, and/or doing industry analysis.
  • Work closely with Sales Account Executives and prospective customers to ensure that product trials have been completed including success criteria addressed.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and identify areas of product enhancements and/or expansion for additional revenue impact.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to understand adoption patterns by customer persona as a means of iterating on where Daloopa’s customers are finding value during our product demonstrations.
  • Identify technologies to leverage to convey customer value faster and increase deal velocity within the Sales Team.

Who You Are

  • You have 3-5 years of experience and an advanced understanding of fundamental financial modeling either from an Equity Research and/or Buyside analyst perspective.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to understand and create LLM workflows that help drive efficiencies to Daloopa's buy-side and sell-side clients
  • Experience working with and/or understanding APIs preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with Account Executives on customer proposals required.

Success Looks Like

  • You become the technical trusted advisor prospects turn to, translating complex requirements into solutions that win deals across buy-side and sell-side institutions.
  • You shape Daloopa's go-to-market motion—your discovery insights, demo feedback, and technical wins directly influence product, integrations, and packaging.

Apply

If you're an analyst who wants something a bit different - you want to continue to speak the language, stay up to date on modeling trends, can answer nitty gritty questions, and enjoy talking to people, we want to hear from you. Apply if want to teach other analysts better ways, can hold a room, and maybe want to get a full night's sleep!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
