·         Provide technical guidance during all phases of the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements.

·         Collaborate with the Solutions Consulting team to develop and refine demo assets, reusable content, and best practices that streamline the pre-sales process.

·         Offer input to product management and engineering based on customer feedback, helping to shape the evolution of Seeq’s software.

·         Stay current with industry trends, customer use cases, and competitors to effectively position Seeq.

·         Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting solutions, success stories, and lessons learned.

·         Assist cross-functional teams in developing industry-specific value propositions or solution accelerators using Seeq.

·         Represent Seeq at events, webinars and conferences.

Requirements

·         5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, ideally within a SaaS or industrial software company.

·         Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, data science). Preference for candidates with experience in process manufacturing industries, though strong candidates from adjacent domains are also encouraged to apply.

·         2-4 years of experience in a critical facilities monitoring technical role or selling B2B to the industry.

·         Strong understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and/or industrial operations and process data.

·         Ability to effectively communicate and present technical concepts to varied audiences, including executives, directors, engineers, and operators.

·         Experience conducting software demos and technical consultations with prospective customers.

·         Familiarity with sales processes and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

·         Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

·         Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

·         Willingness to travel (varies from 10%-25%) for partner meetings, customer meetings, team events, or conferences.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
