Senior Solution Architect

Senior Solutions Architect (Alfa Financial Software, Inc.; Royal Oak, MI): The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for ensuring that a quality end-to-end solution is successfully delivered to one or more projects or products using best practices, correct processes, and architecting highly scalable enterprise SaaS applications. Specific responsibilities include: Leading technical aspects through project phases and designing solution architecture that makes the best use of Alfa Systems capabilities to meet client requirements and also future projects. Managing team to deliver architecture practice and be responsible for the success of a client delivery. Identifying risks, issues and dependencies, mitigation risks where possible, and escalating as appropriate, including working through solutions with the client. Maintaining senior stakeholder/project relationships with corresponding client staff. Working with Product Owners and Markets & Products to shape and prioritize Alfa’s technical and functional roadmaps. Writing external blogs posts/whitepapers to demonstrate best practices and through leadership. Reviewing RFP responses and leading sales demonstrations/presentations. Defining tactics in ownership areas to support corporate strategy. Telecommuting permitted. 20% of domestic travel to visit client sites and HQ.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience as a Junior IT Consultant, Junior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, or Implementation Consultant Analyst or related field.

Must have: 5 years of experience in the automotive, equipment finance industries, or related finance Sectors. Experience with the following: architecting highly scalable enterprise SaaS applications; Cloud hosting architecture, processes & standards; AWS; PostgreSQL; CI/CD solutions. Experience writing and reviewing RFP responses and leading sales presentations.
