As a Senior QA Engineer focused on Salesforce and integrated enterprise systems, you will combine strong manual testing expertise with hands-on Java test automation. You will lead manual testing activities for complex cross-functional initiatives, design and execute functional, integration, API and end-to-end tests, and build sustainable automated test coverage for critical regression and integration scenarios. You will support release readiness decisions, improve quality gates, and collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects and stakeholders to strengthen overall product quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute end-to-end and integration test scenarios across multiple system components
  • Analyze defects, defect trends, and quality metrics to uncover underlying system, process, or coverage issues.
  • Develop strategic test plans and test designs for complex business logic, integrations, and cross-system workflows, ensuring testing activities are aligned across teams and project objectives.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to align on testing approaches and quality standards
  • Lead hybrid testing activities for complex Salesforce and enterprise integration initiatives, balancing manual testing depth with automation coverage.
  • Build, maintain and improve automated test suites using Java-based frameworks.
  • Review automation results, investigate failures and maintain stable regression coverage.
  • Assess release readiness based on test results, defect trends, quality risks, and agreed quality gates.
  • Identify blocking defects and quality risks, and support mitigation decisions with clear data-driven recommendations.
  • Define and maintain quality gates for complex business and integration scenarios.
  • Define, track, and interpret testing and defect metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness and identify quality improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, test execution efficiency, and overall testing process.
  • Mentor less experienced QA engineers and contribute to testing standards and QA community practices.
  • Manage defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, escalation, and clear communication of quality risks.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing / QA engineering, including hands-on experience with Java-based test automation.
  • Strong understanding of manual test design techniques, risk-based testing, release quality assessment, automation strategy and QA methodologies.
  • Experience creating strategic test plans, test designs, test cases, test reports, and release quality assessments.
  • Solid experience with defect management, including severity and priority assessment, defect trend analysis, and risk communication.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, web services, integration validation, automated API checks and test evidence collection.
  • Strong practical experience with Java programming for test automation.
  • Ability to write SQL/SOQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and test evidence collection.
  • Experience defining or applying quality gates, test metrics, and release readiness criteria.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced QA engineers and contribute to testing standards and process improvement.
  • Experience contributing to or overseeing automated testing approaches for complex scenarios.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development process
  • Understanding of test automation patterns, maintainability, code review practices and flaky test prevention.
  • Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.

  • Salesforce certifications 
  • Background working in regulated environments (such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates 
  • Experience testing complex integrations across multiple systems 
  • Advanced experience with Java-based automation frameworks and CI/CD-integrated test execution

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
