The Senior Software Engineer will support backend services, manage data flows, integrate blockchain systems, and ensure overall performance and reliability of the Cloud API.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain backend services for the Cloud API, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability
- Manage data flows and reporting tools, including MySQL, Grafana, Datadog, and Redis
- Integrate and maintain blockchain systems, including support for hard forks and onboarding new chains
- Identify, implement, and monitor improvements to service performance and reliability
- Contribute to end-to-end testing, site reliability, and monitoring services to ensure operational excellence and system resilience
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with designing, building, testing and implementing highly scalable and distributed backend systems
- Expertise using Go language
- SQL databases experience
- Proficient in AWS
- Familiarity with blockchain MEV concepts and implications
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Creative, independent, can do attitude, take ownership of overall responsibilities and a great team player
- Nice to have: ability to read and modify blockchain client core code (e.g., Geth, Bor, Prysm)
