Job Description

Summary:
Sr. software engineer with experience of at least 5 years in developing software applications
using Java/C++ in a complex distributed environment. Experience of at least 2 years developing
Android applications and services. Candidate will perform software development in an agile
environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for development of complex Java and C++ applications with Multimedia
framework (Steaming, RTP, RTSP).
2. Experience on Multi Media Framework for Android OS (not Android App) using C++ and
JAVA. Development environment is Linux.
3. Experience with Linux platform
4. Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, tech
design, implementation, code review, testing, and release.
5. Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and identify solutions to issues during development.
Utilizes necessary tools to measure software performance.
6. Knowledge of scripting languages such as bash, python or Javascript is a plus
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Competencies:
 3-5+ years’ experience with application development in C++ and Java
 2+ years’ Android development experience.
 Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, tech
design, implementation, code review, testing, and release.
