As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for writing code, design, and development of scalable and secure software for enhancing service capabilities and expanding product portfolio. You will be part of cross-team engineering initiatives and a culture of high engagement, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
Here is a breakdown
- You will be engaged in shaping product features in close collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders, including, but not limited to Engineering, Product, User Experience and Support teams.
- You you will be expected to produce software design solutions and corresponding code with the highest quality and on time.
- You will be expected to be an active contributor to design and code reviews.
- “Dev Owns Quality” is principle you will follow and encourage.
- You will actively contribute to full automation test coverage.
- You will be engaged in support and troubleshooting activities.
What will you bring to Omnissa?
- Work with the engineering teams and product stakeholders to review and refine delivery requirements.
- Write technical design documents and hold reviews.
- Design software and write code primarily using Java, Spring Boot, Azure and AWS managed services and cloud best practices.
- Work with various cloud (Azure, AWS) as well Private Cloud capacity management API layers (vSphere, Nutanix, OpenStack).
- Perform task breakdown and plan execution.
- Implement and improve processes around DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD.
- Participate in all team agile ceremonies.
- You will follow engineering standards and best practices.
- We work as one team across the globe, and as such, everyone owns every aspect of the product, from developing new capabilities to supporting customer issues.

Location Type: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)
