We are building a production-grade AI system—not just demo notebooks—to deliver real-world applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and production-grade, safety-focused AI systems at scale in real-world applications.

While our day-to-day work is done remotely, our teams gather in person a few times each year for intentional work.

Key Areas of Responsibility  

  • Develop tools and applications by writing clean, efficient code with guidance following stated best practices.
  • Completes, in a reasonable time frame, a smaller, well-scoped component of a larger project.
  • Owns independent small-to-medium features all the way from technical design to launch.
  • Ensures proper test coverage for work, knowing and employing some different test strategies.
  • Capable of and debugggs some production issues without help.
  • Prioritizes tasks; avoids getting caught up in unimportant details and endless discussions.
  • Collaborates with PMs and cross-functional partners to positively influence our product development cycle and move projects along.
  • Demonstrates rapid learning, making steady progress without the need for constant, significant feedback from more senior engineers.
  • Appropriately balances prioritization of customer-impacting projects with work that gives us better visibility into our system (data), reliability, testability and better infrastructure.
  • Completes a sprint's worth of work with a high level of precision in terms of estimation versus reality
  • Leverages data to make informed decisions.
  • Documents code according to department practices and supports others in doing the same.
  • Participates in tech recruiting activities as needed.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Fluent in JavaScript and Python (Fast API).
  • Experience in backend development design and implementation, database (relation , NoSQL).
  • Hands on experience with modern JavaScript framework , React/NextJS.
  • Familiar with Cloud platform Azure/AWS.
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Experience working in an agile environment. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly learn new languages
