Tech Firefly is teaming up with a deep learning hardware company to hire a Senior Software Engineer for their team. If you are an experienced full stack developer and have experience working for startups, please apply today!

Position: Full-Time

Location: 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user-friendly interfaces for our ML and AI cloud platform
  • Implement top-notch AI models, tools, and workflows on our platform
  • Take ownership of features from design to deployment and monitoring
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience building responsive frontend software
  • Proficient in Typescript, React (or equivalent experience in Vue or Svelte), HTML, and modern CSS
  • Familiarity with Vite
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in implementing business-critical services
  • Proficient in Python, Unix/Command line, and frameworks like Django or FastAPI
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Automation skills for testing and deployment to enhance developer experience
  • Build highly available systems
  • Familiarity with SRE work, including observability, alerting, and logging
  • Strong understanding of public cloud features (e.g., Cloudflare, Okta, AWS)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Atlantis, Crossplane, etc.
  • Exposure to event-based or serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Kinesis, etc.)
  • Background in machine learning, AI, or data science
  • Knowledge of application security and web hardening
  • Strong engineering background (EECS preferred, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics)
