What are we looking for?
SentinelOne is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge security products, particularly those deployed within FedRAMP-compliant environments. You will leverage your expertise in quality assurance, software development, and automation to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies.
What will you do?
- Champion quality within the development process, ensuring all software deployed meets internal, quality, and regulatory requirements, including FedRAMP controls.
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced V&V test plans and strategies for complex software systems, with a focus on AI-driven functionalities.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright.
- Integrate and manage test automation pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring seamless execution and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and debug failures and document, prioritize, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports, contributing to go/no-go decisions for software releases.
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing test strategies for complex software systems, with a strong emphasis on Quality assurance.
- Extensive experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and/or Docker for containerization and orchestration of test environments.
- Strong understanding of secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray) and defect tracking systems.
