The Position: 

  • Conduct software architecture, design, and coding activities to support new features and existing functional components 
  • Contribute to vision for and execute on evolving the company’s ground-breaking care and population health management platform 
  • Develop services and other system components for existing and new functionality 
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other members of the engineering team  
  • Support senior technology executives and add value with respect to strategic discussions and key technology decisions 
  • Investigate ongoing requests and tasks and ensure timely delivery of the necessary fixes 

 Required Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years in enterprise technology development  
  • Expertise and experience with PHP, Symfony (+ Doctrine) and Yii frameworks preferred 
  • Expertise and experience with MySQL or other RDBMS 
  • Knowledge of JavaScript or/and TypeScript, HTML/CSS, REST API 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, common architectural patterns, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and standard development tools (version control, project tracking, collaboration, etc.) 
  • Understanding of most common AWS services – S3, RDS, EC2, etc. 
  • Knowledge of application development using streaming or message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and cross-functional collaboration 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Expertise and experience with C# and .NET framework 
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases - Redis, ElasticSearch, Mongo, Document DB, etc. 
  • Experience with AWS services, especially microservice architecture 
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes) 
  • Strong architectural skills
