The Role
We’re seeking a strong full stack engineer to join our application engineering team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building Node.js and React web applications that make up our AI shopping agent and commerce platform. You will play a key role in shaping the consumer facing experience for our AI shopping agent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain high performing Node.js applications and APIs
- Architect and scale microservices to support a growing commerce platform.
- Work with product team and cross functional teams to deliver business critical features
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment
- Champion best practices in code quality, testing and documentation
- Mentor teammates and provide technical guidance and feedback
You
- 5-7 years experience in software development
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline
- Strong expertise with JavaScript / TypeScript
- Proficiency in Node.js (Express, Koa or similar frameworks)
- Proficiency in React; familiarity with other modern frameworks is a plus
- Experience with system design and web application architecture
- Familiarity with one or more cloud providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure
The expected salary for this role is $185,000 - $210,000 depending on skills and experience
