Design and develop robust system infrastructure and database solutions. Evaluate architectural trade-offs and apply synchronous and asynchronous design patterns. Write clean, efficient, unit-tested and well-documented code for both client-side and server-side components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and deliver high-quality software solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Implement and maintain APIs. Ensure application security, data protection, and code quality standards are met. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience with: Back-end languages such as Node.js, Python, and Java; Multi-tier production software systems utilizing HTTP APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) and backend datastores (PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB, Redis); Version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices; Cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Observability tools, such as Heap and/or Datadog; Microservices architecture; RESTful API design and implementation; and Agile development methodologies. Three (3) years of experience with: Front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ReactNative; and Containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes).
