Build, sharpen, and scale real-time frontend features for an AI-native labor orchestration platform. Ship production React/TypeScript UIs, maintain component libraries, ensure testing, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility while working closely with core engineering and AI teams.

Transform How Frontline Work Runs

Enterprises struggle to manage hundreds of millions of dollars in frontline labor spend due to decades-old software and manual processes, creating massive, avoidable costs. Frontline labor often represents 40% of the P&L, yet the systems managing this $3 trillion market were built for static schedules and limited flexibility.

ReadyOn was founded to reject that paradigm. Staffing is not a scheduling problem; it is a real-time supply–demand orchestration problem. ReadyOn is an AI-native labor operating system, built from the ground up for AI agents to perform real-time labor optimization - much like ridesharing platforms that match drivers and riders in real time, but applied to frontline labor instead of fixed, one-size-fits-all schedules.

Who's Building It

AI is not a bolt-on feature in our platform. Every decision, from demand forecasting to shift assignment, flows through an adaptive, autonomous decision layer that learns from operational data and continuously optimizes for cost, compliance, and worker satisfaction. Behind that system is a founding team of experts in labor markets, enterprise software, and AI-enabled platforms:

  • Reza – Engineering leader who scaled enterprise systems at Google, Yahoo, and AT&T
  • Dominic – Operator who optimized labor-intensive operations in 21 countries
  • Mohammad – Stanford professor and leading expert in algorithmic market design

ReadyOn has already proven product–market fit with multiple multi-million-dollar customers, consistent expansion within existing accounts, and measurable ROI that moves stock prices.

Hands-On Builders Leading AI Innovation

Let's be direct. We are looking for a technical powerhouse. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who loves to code and ship impactful products. The core enterprise system is live; now the work is about sharpening, extending, and scaling real-time labor insights across thousands of sites and users. As an engineer here, you’re not layering AI onto the edges of a legacy tool, you’re building the core decision layer that orchestrates how thousands of shifts, locations, and workers come together every day.

Our engineers roll up their sleeves across core engineering, AI, and platform teams to get things built. You’ll find TypeScript and Python everywhere, powering everything from core services to user-facing features. This is a place for people who launch, learn, and continuously make systems smarter in production.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You

  • Have 5+ years of frontend engineering experience working with production systems.
  • Have an expertise in Typescript and React.
  • Have experience building and maintaining Storybook component libraries.
  • Have unit testing experience (e.g., Jest or Vitest) and React testing library.
  • Have GraphQL experience (e.g., Apollo or Relay) for building data-driven UIs.
  • Proficient in client-side Javascript, modern frameworks, and handling cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing (e.g., Playwright or Cypress).
  • Have a strong appreciation for clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
  • Have experience with performance optimization, accessibility (a11y) and responsive design best practices.

This Might Not Be the Right Role If You

  • Prefer clear-cut structure, established processes, or state-of-the-art internal operating systems; we embrace rapid change and flexibility.
  • Want a traditional corporate setting with standard roles, well-defined career ladders, and steady routines.
  • Rely on top-down guidance, detailed documentation, or formal onboarding; autonomy and self-direction are critical here.
  • Crave predictability or highly specialized functions; we reward outcome-driven effort, learning, and the ability to flex between roles rather than sticking to rigid paths.

Interview Process

  1. Screening call with Talent (Recruiter)
  2. 1:1 interview with Founder/CTO, Reza Iranmanesh (hiring manager)
  3. Technical panel: cross-functional technical interview (virtual)
  4. Onsite interview with direct team and select founding members

Location: Why In-Person Matters

As a high-growth startup tackling complex, industry-defining challenges, in-person collaboration is essential to our success. Being together in our San Francisco office enables rapid decision-making, creative problem-solving, and strong team trust, critical in this formative phase. You’ll be required to work onsite, Monday through Friday, to help shape our culture, accelerate learning, and build the foundational technology that will define ReadyOn’s future.

Compensation

We offer a highly competitive salary range for this position: $180,000–$250,000 (San Francisco-based candidates). Final compensation will be determined based on your skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to salary, this role may include comprehensive benefits, bonuses, commissions, and a meaningful equity stake in ReadyOn.

Potential Recruitment Fraud Memo

Recruiting at ReadyOn is handled directly by our in-house team or verified hiring partners. We will never request payment, bank details, or confidential personal information during our recruitment process. EEO Statement

ReadyOn is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
