About the Role:

We are in search of a Senior Frontend Software Engineer with the expertise to distill complex problems into straightforward solutions that address user needs. This role focuses on developing the frontend of our product, creating responsive, well-tested, and performant web applications with modern technologies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in frontend or full-stack development, a passion for testing, a keen eye for design and user experience, and a commitment to leveraging industry best practices to create applications that are easy to use and reliable. Your contribution will directly impact our mission to simplify security challenges through technology, making our solutions accessible and intuitive for our users.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop responsive, well-tested, and performant web applications using React with hooks, TypeScript, and other modern frontend technologies like Vite and Chakra UI.

  • Lead the execution of key frontend engineering initiatives, ensuring the application's UI/UX meets high standards of quality and usability.

  • Foster a culture of technical excellence within the team, focusing on continuous improvement in frontend development practices.

  • Be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Author technical proposals and documentation to align teams on frontend architecture and design choices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Success in this role requires:
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend development.

  • Proficiency in React with hooks, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies like Vite, Chakra UI, Axios, and Playwright for testing.

  • Experience in building responsive, well-tested, and performant web applications.

  • Strong understanding of front-end tooling and package management using Vite and Yarn.

  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment using GitHub Actions, and hosting applications on AWS.

  • A keen sense for identifying business needs and communicating clear visions for implementing frontend solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex frontend issues to non-technical audiences.

  • Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.

  • Proficiency in frontend system design, with an ability to architect scalable and maintainable web applications.

  • Familiarity with API design and development best practices, ensuring efficient and secure data exchange between the frontend and backend.

  • Knowledge of common design patterns and best practices in frontend development.

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S., being a citizen or Green Card holder.

  • Are a US citizen or Green Card holder.

Ways to stand out:
  • Expertise building frontends for B2B SaaS products.

  • Expertise with NodeJS or other backend technologies.

  • Expertise with modern E2E testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright).

  • Expertise with creating automated CICD pipelines.

  • Expertise with GraphQL isn't necessary.

  • Expertise with code splitting, lazy loading, reducing bundle size, and optimizing rendering

  • Expertise with Vite or Webpack.

  • Expertise with responsive web apps.

  • Expertise with CSS as JS (tailwind, emotion, style-components).

  • Expertise with UI/UX principles
