Job Description

CyberArk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Security team, responsible for the Control Plane — our cloud platform for securing machine identities. In this role, you will help advance our next generation Certificate Lifecycle Management capabilities and play a key part in shaping how organizations manage and protect their machine identities at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver new features that strengthen the Machine Identity Cloud platform.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain high quality frontend applications using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and MUI X.
  • Partner closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless end to end functionality.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and system architects to align UI architecture with product strategy, usability standards, and long term vision.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including those that span multiple services within the Machine Identity Security ecosystem.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, and automation.
  • Participate in a paid on call rotation to ensure platform reliability and an excellent user experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend engineering.
  • Proven experience building modern, scalable web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and familiarity with MUI X.
  • Exposure to backend technologies such as Java, Golang, or PostgreSQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of x509, PKI, and certificate issuance protocols (e.g., ACME, SCEP) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

The salary range for this position is $155,000 – $194,000/year, plus equity and discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance and equity. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
