Develop backend services and APIs, improve existing solutions, create automated tests, and collaborate with the team while ensuring code quality and documentation.
We are looking for a Senior Back-End C# Developer to join our Core Integrations Team, responsible for integrating our mobile banking platform with major US banking cores such as Keystone, Ultradata, and Symitar. You will contribute to one of the company’s core back-end services used across all products, helping improve the daily experience of millions of users.
In this role, you’ll work on real-world banking integrations, complex APIs, and high-load services, collaborate closely with a friendly, distributed team, and solve challenging problems in a fintech environment. You’ll also take part in modernizing a monolithic architecture and preparing it for cloud migration while working in an Agile team with mature processes.
This position is remote, full-time, and requires some periodic overlap with US Pacific daytime hours (5–9 AM PST).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test and support backend services and APIs.
- Develop new features and enhance existing functionality.
- Investigate live client requests.
- Refine requirements thoughtfully and proactively reach stakeholder to clarify requirements.
- Compose test plan together with the team and thoroughly test your changes.
- Write all kinds of automated tests according to the test pyramid principle.
- Fix bugs according to agreed time frames.
- Develop according to team processes and agreements.
- Refactor code communicating with code owners and architects.
- Document API and features to enable easy implementation and support.
- Provide support during deployment sessions when needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a back-end C# developer.
- Demonstrated ability to write well-designed, clean, reusable, and testable code.
- Think systematically, act proactively, take responsibility and achieve success without direct guidance.
- 5-9 AM PST mandatory overlap hours with the rest of team members.
- Experience writing unit tests (xUnit or other framework).
- Intermediate level of English for communications and writing technical documentation.
- Experience with Git.

- Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs.
- Experience writing integration, API, performance and load tests.
- Experience developing high-load services.
- Experience solving tasks in complex domains.
- Experience working remotely within a distributed team.
- Experience in API mocking using libraries like mountebank.
- Knowledge of TCP.
- Knowledge or experience using gRPC.
